I'm guessing that the unedible food is probably some Hurkoid thing... Anyway, I take out the Twassecc food and hold it in front of his nose.

The twassecc food, some kind of processed wupa fruit, seems to make him feel better. He can smell it, and smiles. However, he isn't waking up. You look back to the Hurk food. It is some kind of badly preserved animal. It smells horrible, but has lots of meat and fat on it. Oro returns.
"I saw it! It's here! It's landed on this very island! They must be here!"

One more thing I can try. I hold the rotten meat in front of the Twassecc's face, to see if the revolting stench will wake him up. If so or if not, I send Oreo to look for the others.

Chips Ahoy leaves you and searches for the opponents. The stench of the food distorts the Twassecc's face into a dissatisfied frown. He awakens, screaming out "What is that smell?" Awakening to the sight of a rotting carcass, he is rather purturbed. However, he quickly recovers.
"Thank you for saving me. I have to rest now." He falls immediately asleep.

While I wait for Cheese Nip, I scan the horizon for any evidence of the storm letting up. I then take a nap.

The rain has subsided, but the clouds remain. Within a few erkers, Ritz Bitz Sandwitches returns, giving you the following report.
"I saw the landed transport again. I also saw the other team. Looks like they lost a member, too. Their leader has a broken limb of some kind. I couldn't see their pilot at all. I see you revived the Twassecc."
Geel, the Twassecc, is awakening. He stretches his arms and stands. He is going to be a powerful asset, as he is stronger than either of you. He also brandishes a G-15 rifle.
Suddenly, you are enlightened enough to have another free skill brought to you. (Repayment for saving Twassecc) Choose one...
1. Blend- Blend in with background, making self invisible for 3 turns. 10 skillpoints.
2. Matrix Style Kick- Slash upon all enemies in range. Does 25-30 damage. +10 damage for Razor Claws. 10 skillpoints.
3. Oggle- Allows you to see all enemies within reasonable limits. (GM's choice) 3 Skillpoints.

I choose the Matrix Style Kick.

Well, I pray to the GM. "Is it cheating in the contest if you eliminate the other team?" I ask.

With amazing promptness, you suddenly know the answer. Of course it's cheating, but if you kill off the enemy pilot, no one will know. Teams frequently disappear in these races.
The Twassecc stands.
"We'll need to get off this island, and since I cannot swim, I'll get to work on it. You said the enemy transport is parked? We might be able to take it. Of course, that would be cheating."
He winks at you. Obviously this pilot has no moral fiber.

With claws donned, I tell the Twassecc to follow behind us and use his rifle at his descresion. I am assuming that Wheat Thin is also armed with claws. We come to the enemy camp.
We all charge in, after the pilot!

You HP: 15 Attack: 20-40
Geel HP: 50 Attack: 30-50
Oro HP: 15 Attack: 20-40
You leap for the pilot. He lets out a piercing scream and fumbles for his rifle! Unfortunately for him, he cannot yet attack. The healthy enemy Choeroed jumps to attention as well.
Choeroed HP: 15 Attack: 20-40 (Melee)
Injured Leader HP: 10 Attack: 0 (Cannot fight)
Pilot HP: 30 Attack: 30-50 (Bullet)
____________________________________________________
Each of you hits the pilot. After two Choeroeds slashing through his face and an accurate G-15 shot to the chest, he is very much dead. His Rifle falls to the rocky ground with a clatter.
The enemy Choeroed leaps for Geel, claws donned. With a mighty blow, he slashes the Twassecc for 30 damage! The leader tries to hobble away, but it is clear that his leg has been amputated, due to some injury.
You HP: 15 Attack: 20-40
Geel HP: 20 Attack: 30-50
Oro HP: 15 Attack: 20-40

I pull a Matrix-Style kick on the Cheoroed who doth offended my Twassecc ally. I send my cookie after the injured guy.

The enemy Choeroed is torn into neat little slices of flesh. His damaged backpack falls into the mud. You look up to see Nabisco slicing through the neck of the enemy leader. Geel is getting up, recovering from the damage. He grins at you and heads for the enemy transport. After a few moments of silence, looking at the gore, you see Geel return.
"Too bad. The transport is broken. It'll take weeks to fix it. However, I did hear about something." He pulls out a map of the western hemisphere of Polon V. On it, a thick black line is drawn.
"This represents the transport system. As Polon only has a few thousand square miles of land, and these are spread out as small islands in a long chain, transportation is a problem. A kind of hover train was installed. But, due to the need for platforms, and the huge expanse of water between land, many seemingly insignificant islands were used for stations. Our island, here, (Pointing to map), is the last stop. We should be able to catch a ride. He points to the top of a hill, where a low building can be seen.

Well, I, Uh... Head up the hill toward the building. (After looting that backpack off the Cheoroed)

Good choice. (Hint: Enemy pilot dropped gun...)
You reach the building. It is covered with some sort of mossy vine. However, resting in it is a 30 foot long vehicle. Under the green stain it is a beautiful silver. A little red light on the station and the fact that it is hovering about 6 feet off of the track indicates that it is still operational. You look up ahead and see the first of the stations, about 3 or 4 miles away.

I run back and get the gun. I hand it to Goldfish. Now, I get into the car and start it up... Let's go.
