I quickly run to the water and eat a few fish to regain my skillpoints. I then return to the communications building and enter it.

There is a small control room inside. No one is there. The eerie architecture creeps you out, however.

I call the Twassecc flagship from the strange building.
"Hey, Mr. Admiral? I investigated this site, and it is occupied with some tentacled creatures. Definitely hostile. I suggest killing them on site. Boy, are they fun... those tentacles keep writhing after you... what? Oh, yeah. Go ahead and send the transport to pick me up..."

"Meet the transport at the beach. That is all." the communicator turns off. You head for the beach. Up ahead, you can see the base you came from. The ICH is coming to collect you. Suddenly, a roar rings out. A tremendous creature, covered in thick plates lunges at you. Luckily it is very slow.

I merely laugh at this slow beast. I begin dodging attacks and dishing out quick ones of my own. (Be fair; a slow creature has NO chance of hitting me.)

The creature is slow, but has a mouth bigger than the ICH which is still coming to pick you up. It nearly hits you once. Suddenly, a noise comes from the sky. Both you and the creature look up to see a metal comet strike the ocean nearby. A giant wave strikes the sand. The water bubbles, then a tremendous shape rises from it. An AED, in all its glory, comes walking past you. The creature roars at it. The giant vehicle just fires a grenade high into the air, producing a deafening explosion. THe creature, frightened, slinks away. The ICH pulls up on the beach and picks you up. Within an erka, you are back at the main base.

Interesting... I board the transport and return to the commander. I ask for my reward.

"Ahh... Yes. The Admiral (Dramatic Music) said he left it in the hangar, up there." You head for the hangar, I assume. Inside are many air and space vehicles. A technition sees you.
"Hey! You're that guy who gets the new craft!" He hands you a message, and points over into a corner of the building. The message states that you get a choice of a Sickle, an ORB, or a Coleo Fighter.
Sickle HP: 300 Attack: 50-100 (Lasers) Attack: 10,000 (Bomb) (Starts with one bomb)
Coleo HP: 200 Attack: 100-200 (Lasers) (Way Fast)
ORB HP: 100 Attack: 50-100 (Lasers) Attack: 10,000-20,000 (K5 Spill) (Starts with one K5 spill)

The technition hands you an identification card. You may use your newfound toy at the testing grounds to the south for 100 pats, and of course use it in any battle, but you will get in trouble for reckless bombing.
The Hangar offers free repair for your vehicle, as well as sells bombs for 1000 pats. (Hint: You may be able to find a better deal somewhere.)
And, you level up! +4 attribute, +1 skill.

Thim: Only one job that you see right now can be completed with your new toy, and its reward is fairly low. It is to fly the nearby area and send back your findings. (As in Recon. You may wish to do this.)
Razir: You are standing in the center of the base, watching people go by. What do you do?

(Good, Good. EVERYBODY READ THIS... IT WILL BE IMPORTANT LATER!!!!!!!!!!)
You look down upon the island, shaped somewhat like an "R". You can identify a group of residential buildings to the southwest, along with the hovertrain station from before. To the southeast, a large ground unit training facility and troops quarters. There are two main roads that each bisect the island, making it into four quadrants. The market, a vehicle yard, and the command center, as well as the sub pens are in the northeast quadrant. In the northwest are storage buildings, the hangar, the commander's house, and a jungle. The entire island is bordered by a long sandy beach. To the north is the island with the strange creatures on it, and northeast of that, another, unexplored island. To the west of the island are a chain of smaller islands used for bombing practice and a shallow bay. Most of the eastern side of the island is covered in Choeroed water turrets. A few are under construction to the north, and four are to the south. On the eastern side of the island is a tall cliff where schools of fish swim, and are caught for food.
After returning from your recon mission, you are given the reward of free storage for your Sickle, as well as a repair kit, for if you ever crash land.
