New twassecc time system. Base ten. Each unit is ten times as long as the one before. One twassecc second is the same as one earth second.
Twassecc unit (equivalent earth units)
1 second (1 second) 1 span (10 seconds) 1 minute (100 seconds, 1.66 minutes) 1 reach (16.66 minutes) 1 hour (166.66 minutes, 2.77 hours) 1 day (27.77 hours, 1.15 days) 1 week (11.57 days) 1 series (115.7 days, 3.85 months) 1 year (1157.4 days, 3.17 years)
Twassecc times are typically read as strings of numbers, separated between after years, days, and minutes. So in 0:000:000:01 means in 1 second. For example, 231:427:533:21 (roughly midday on the 427th day of the 231st year since the destruction of Twassure). Times read aloud usually omit year, series, week, day, span, and second. For example, "Practice starts at 975", meaning practice starts 9.75 hours into the 10 hour day, or 2.5 reaches (about 33 earth minutes) before midnight.
