Physical Stats:
Average Height: 3.5 meters with legs enitirely straightened. But since the Snodeck are generally too lazy to completely extend their legs (unless they see a bag of cash on a shelf or something) they usually compose themselves at 1.8 meters. Average Weight: 400 pounds Appearance: Four spider like legs, large stomach, four strong tentacles with toxic shot whips called piercers, no shoulders, and large head. There is not a strand of hair on their entire body, and they are usually red or orange in color, a few others and the majority of the royal family are yellow.
Societal Stats:
Normal Occupation: Businessman Technology: Advanced Intelligence and Culture: 150-190 high culture Heirarchy: Blood, the members of the Royal Family are always the smartest. If a family begins to get generally more inteligent then the Royal Family (not wanting to be overthrown) usually tries to get them assasinated or framed (though the Royal Family is powerfull they cannot simply order the execution of people without a reason). If the Royal Family is unsuccessfull then the new smarter family will overthrow them, may it be through assassination, public favor, or by simply just moving into the Palace and the old family moving out through surrender.
Military Stats:
Military Advantages: Not too many, they were invaded once by another race in the Nablas system. They installed a network of satellites that will sense an incoming ship and fire a simple laser at it. Ever since then they have never cared to take it down. All the rest of the military applications on Decka have been bought torn down and used by especially greedy Snodeck. There is a small fleet in the Nablas system asteroid field, and a couple bases on the moons of Hodeck. Military Disadvantages: A lot, too many to list. Most effective unit: The Penetrater Largest unit: The Rototaka Largest ground unit: Nototenka

The Snodeck language, mathematics, science, philosophy, etc., and most importantly economics are all innertwined in their system of communication. Just like in the metric system, a gram of water is also one cm^3 of water, so do units of measure, numbers, words, theorems, and stock options of the Snodeck meet together. Such a system of complete effeciency was finally decided upon by the Snodeck in order to create a more powerful economy. Decka's lands are seperated into many different territories, much like countries, that are owned and opperated by the different families. Each family has a Patriarch and Matriarch who lead the families and make decisions for them as a king and queen would. New families may spring up every 50 years or so when one family has become too big, and one of the sons or daughters of the Patriarch has enough power to separate himself or herself taking their lands with them. The territories of the families are always changing, the borders do not remained fixed at all. This happens because the Snodeck are so fixed on their economic well-fair that they will often trade, merge, sell, and sue for lands amongst each other. If you want to have a current map of Decka, you have to purchase one that has an antenna powerful enough to pick up transmissions from Nablas in order to recieve the most recent border changes. The most powerful family of Decka is known by the whole planet to be the Royal Family, or if it's not the Royal Ramily then it soon will be...most likely through hostile take over. Sometimes, though, families who become more powerful than the royal family won't want to make this fact public. Hostile take overs can get them into terrible legal strings if the Royal Family is currently populated by a vast amount of lawyers and judges. So instead, the newly powerful family will simply begin to actually hire families to ignore the royal decrees of the current royal family. Soon most families of Decka begin to fall into the take-over family's employ. Remaining families get the hint, and change their allegiances. When this happens the Royal Family turns over the royal seal and hosts the corronation of the new King and Queen in order to retain their good reputation on the planet. Other variations of royal take overs have occured: family's who are not more powerful make themselves so by threatening family members of the Royal Family's Tockneff. The Tockneff then change allegiances, and the threatening family uses the new power to forcefully take the Palace from the Royal Family. At all times, there are always attempts at overthrowing the Royal Family, but successes only come every five-hundred years or so...the Royal Family is usually effective at repelling the attempts. The Royal Family's duties are to provide a proper police system, military ( : , laws, judicial system, and economic stability of the planet. The Family's usually comply to the Royal Family's wishes: only when a Family becomes obviously and blatantly more powerful, does the Royal Family have any problems. But there's a reason why the Royal Family is royal...they're always the smartest, cleverest, most intelligent of the entire planet. They create and enforce laws, economic sanctions, and boundary commandments. Therefore, at 90% of the planet's history there has been order and stability in the society. During the other 10%, the Royal Family of the time is being overthrown and the rest of the planet enjoys enertainment and a few illegal acts, but since they are being stolen from as well as being in the process of stealing, they're funds balance out and there's basically no difference. During the ancient years of Decka the Snodeck used to be separated into different nations, with separate families inside the separate nations. But in attempt to fortify a stronger economy, all of the Snodeck quickly made the decision to unify under one Royalty. The most richest, most powerful, most influential Family took the position. It has been that way ever since.

The society on Decka is extremely strange. When one lands on the planet, and walks around for maybe a week's visit, he would tell you that all the Snodeck are quite nice while maybe a bit selfish. But if he were to stay longer, he might find out the darker side of Decka (no, not the one that Nablas isn't currently shining on).
Things are indeed well-ordered, and the society is efficient.
Snodeck aren't violent at all, but the drive of jealousy will do certain things to some of them. Every society has its criminals. Also, many of the Snodeck live two lives. There is a majority of Snodeck who will wage "wars" with each other, utilizing their Tockneff. Thus, there is a necessity for police.
Police System: The Snodeck are about the strangest race in the entire galaxy in their law-keeping ways. The government, does, ofcourse, provide police, but there isn't any stopping individual Snodeck from creating their own private police forces. A usual police force consists of Snodeck who are paid to "make sure" the station runs as Royal commission says, then all of the Tockneff who do all of the brunt work.
Private police stations are often personally owned and operated by some of the more wealthy Snodeck. They have to get a Law Enforcement Liscense to do so, and the stations must merely enforce Royal laws. There really isn't much difference between a Royal policeman and a private one. But since Snodeck will often own apartment complexes, they will earn a Law Enforcement Liscense then purchase weapons, hire Tockneff, and effectively set up a safer neighborhood for future apartment renters. Thus, you have several different uniforms running around, but they must all enforce the same laws. Therefore, there cannot be any one Snodeck using his own policemen to his advantage.
Ofcourse, there are always problems, but on the most part Snodeck will wish to obey personal police laws to keep from getting into any trouble.
Feuds: One might say that Decka is like a refined 1920's Chicago. It has this nice pleasant look, with a majority of law-abiding Snodeck, but on the inside, it has an underworld of gangs. The Tockneff can never lose their feuding nature, and the Snodeck are only too willing to utilize it for their own advantage.
Snodeck will send their Tockneff out to sabotage their business opponent's products, materials, or documents. Snodeck also wish to defend their products, materials, and documents. So what you get as a result, are a somewhat large minority of "street-fights", feuds, and emnity between families. There are thousands of underground wars. These wars rarely become violent towards the lives of the actual partisipants, but rather towards the supplies owned by the Snodeck involved. Neither participant in a war will want any actual killing to happen because he will not want any attention drawn to his actions.
Usually the Royal family is quite aware of the wars, but they're mostly apathetic to what goes on, and sometimes hold bets on who will actually "win". Thus, on the inside of these refined, dashing, intelligent, and witty economic masters are very unscrupulous gangsters who during the "day", are very willing shake their business opponent's hand, but during the "night" will "lead" attacks on their warehouses.
