I followed Raizi into the outfitter. I hadn't been there before. There were garments of all sorts, but I didn't really need many of the garments they sold, which were mainly things that protected from mild sandstorms. I was used to it. She purchased a backpack there. It was huge, well, bigger than mine, but oh well. It's not like I could carry it anyway. Then I followed her into the armory. The frickin' daxite blade (ooh) called to me again, but I had no money. I was broke. I started to feel sorry for it... but then Raizi bought it. So whoo-hoo!! Then, she turned to me and said, "Well, I'm pretty much done with my shopping. Got only 20 pats left. Do you have something to do?" That was quick. I took forever shopping. I thought to myself for a while. "Well, not really... I'm not sure how long this storm will keep going. Maybe we could find a temporary job somewhere... or maybe rest up at the hotel..." In any case, we left the shop. Then, for the... um... "whatever'th" time that day, I could've sworn I saw another norkid, with a small backpack scampering over ((or whatever)) to the area of the train wreck. 'Was it toying with me!? ARGH!!!' I thought to myself. 'Because it's doing a good job....'

Yep. Looks like we need a bit more time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Everyone:
Really, I can’t think of any way that this could be described well, so I’ll just tell you. Here is a list of jobs that are in the scope of reality to do quickly, but keep in mind that there are others (which I have hinted at) that will pay more and be more useful, but will not be accomplishable until slightly later.
Market: 2 jobs, one repair, one delivery
Exotic Foods: 1 job, menial labor
By The Gods: 2 jobs, one search-and-rescue, one combat
Exotic Goods: 1 job, delivery
Arch-Bishop: 2 jobs, menial labor
Chief Engineer: 1 job, menial labor
------------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s pretty much it. Short post, I know, but there’s not much else I can throw in here.

As Raizi and I left the armory, I suddenly saw some of the nearby stores put up signs about jobs. "Ooh," I said in delight. I looked at them and discovered most of them involved menial labor. Then, I saw some delivery missions. I was interested in the one for Exotic Foods. The Rappi was still calling to me.... But then I saw some signs in the By The Gods diner. I was able to read it from afar, since the sign they posted was quite big. "Search-and-rescue..... combat..... Those sound fun, eh Raizi?" Her eyes were looking around too I would imagine. But I wanted to go to the diner to find out more details about those and to see if I could handle it. But on my way there, I saw the arch-bishop... he had jobs to offer as well. But the diner... it sounded so interesting... I was stuck. unable to make up my mind right then and there. And by pure luck, I happened to be standing near the train wreck. What keeps bringing me there anyway? I didn't know, but I guess I was just making sure one last time that the norkid there didn't want to show itself...

"Ok" I said. "Lets do this." So I worked up my best Sigwar voice and called out, "Ziela!" (I had picked up her name in the diner) "Help me!"
(I know this is short but that's about all I need to do now.)

"Ziela!" "Huh?" I said aloud. I heard a Sigwar call my name... The only one around that knew my name to the best of my knowledge is Raizi, so.... who could possi-- "Help me!" I turned around and heard it was coming from the area of the train wreck. There was nothing there, but I walked toward it and -- the norkid!?!?!?!?!? I ducked my head down and managed to slap myself with one set of hands while rubbing my eyes with another. I looked up again, and there it was!! A norkid!! All 6 of my eyes saw it. "HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!" I laughed as I pointed. "I spotted you!!" I began to laugh and feel proud of myself, patting myself on the back with my tail, when I realized: 'Duh, they can imitate voices. He called me here.' The norkid just looked at me and blinked which probably translated to "she's gone bonkers...", so I decided to change the subject. "So, what do you need help with? And what's your name? You already know mine. That's not fair."

"Hello Ziela" I said changing my voice to it's normal state. "My name is Trifin. Sorry but I like to have fun and thought it would be amusing to confuse you. Heh. Looks like I did a pretty good job. So anyway don't start getting all excited I was just wondering, seeing as how your like six times the size of me or more (I don't wanna do the math) if you could assist me in moving this large dome out of the way. If you do I may be able to help you in the future?"

'UGH!! So he WAS toying with me after all. But I had to admit. I guess it must've been somewhat amusing. I'm gonna have to get him back for that some day. :: evil mental snicker :: ' Then, I realized I hadn't been saying anything. There had been an awkward moment of silence. "Oh, um, nice to meet you Trifin. As for this dome... okay, we got a deal. I'll do what I can to move it in exchange for your help in the future." He nodded in confirmation. So, I walked up to it, planted my feet and my tail firmly on the ground to make a tripod formation and pushed with all 6 arms and my head (and I secretly got my wind powers to help. ^_^). After a few erkans of no results, I finally got it moving... slowly, but it was moving. Soon, I was done. I hadn't moved it too much really, but the creature was small and was able to get beyond this particular obstacle now. I caught my breath and looked at what he found.

Doing my best, I peeked under the metal dome piece to see what the Sigwar had uncovered for us. My eyes adjusted to the darkness faster than the Sigwar's. Before she had seen anything, I spotted...

(Sorry for the non-posting yesterday, internet was down... Are you guys aware, though, that most of you start with a backpack?)
I go to the market and inquire about the delivery job.

(Yep, I'm pretty much the only one who had to buy a backpack and it cost me 30 pats! ~_~)
"A job! A job! Ziela, I found a job!" I shouted, finding her at the transit station. Geez, you think she'd go anywhere like that and help a norkid get something from under the dome. It was...
"Never mind that, I found the perfect job for us, Ziela!" In haste, I grabbed one of her six arms and pointed at the diner. "I read that there's a job for combat. I know neither of us are combatants, but together we're an unbeatable force. With your priestess powers and my Raizi Jr., nothing can stop us, right?"

"A job! A job! Ziela, I found a job!" I heard Raizi yell from behind me. "I read that there's a job for combat. I know neither of us are combatants, but together we're an unbeatable force. With your priestess powers and my Raizi Jr., nothing can stop us, right?" I smiled. "I sure hope so. I'm interested in that job too. Let's g--" Then I realized, I was stil lwaiting for Trifin to come out. "Trifin!! What did you find in there!?" I turned back to Raizi. "Could you hold on for an erkan? I wanna see what this norkid found. But after that, sure, let's go. It's been a while since I fought anything anyway. I'm gonna have to see how rusty I got." So, I waited. Then, finally, Trifin emerged with...

Nothing! (Hehehehehe) Actually, what he found was too large to remove from underneath the dome. He describes it as a smashed reinforced box of some sort, but he isn’t sure.
Gliix:
The inside of the market is decorated differently than the plaza. Its walls are papered in a deep green color (perhaps sigwar aren’t very used to seeing green, so they like it…) Rows of odd, dehydrated foods line the walls and several low shelves. You approach the customer service counter, and ask the fairly elderly fellow behind the counter about the job. “Ahh yes… Good. I’m glad I got a responder so fast. I’m even more glad that an offworlder responded… You see, my good friend Bain ordered this special remedy” He held up a small glass canister. “This is a hurk medicine, and as you know few sigwar will trust something from that horrid place. Either way, this is the only thing that is keeping him healthy. You must deliver it to him (He’s in the hospital area of the hotel), but watch out for the nurses there… They won’t like him having it. Have him write you a note to me that he got the medicine, and bring it by. I’ll give you your reward then.”
You stare at the canister. It is a cylinder of glass, but the inside is very foggy. It buzzes slightly, which you believe is attributed to some sort of mechanical process that the canister is doing to keep its contents fresh, but you wonder slightly if that may have been movement you saw inside it…

Finally, Trifin emerged!! "So what'd you find?" I asked. He told me what he saw... some smashed, reinforced box thing... I just stood there and blinked a few times... there was an awkward silence... "Hmm... maybe we can find a way to get it out of there later, but as for now, I'll be heading with my friend Raizi, here, to the diner. They're offering some jobs. There's a search-and-rescue job there you might like. In fact, alot of the stores have some job offers. Fe-- Oh." I turn to Raizi as I remembered my manners. "Raizi, this is Trifin. Trifin this is Raizi." They made introductions and Raizi and I began to head over to the diner. As I left, I called back to Trifin "Feel free to call on us if you need any help again." 'And don't forget you promised to help me out in the future,' I added in my mind. Then, Raizi and I walked over to the By The Gods diner and asked about the jobs they were offering.
