Ah, the transport is setting off...very good. I wonder what Kek'Tar though of my little display with the Royal Credit and the solutes. I really get all choked up when I start to look at my detailed graphic of the old currency. As Kek'Tar left to go talk about who knows what, I got dropped my pose and turned off the graphic of the Royal Credit. I had to get my mind out this emotion that so strongly held me. So I promptly attempted to load some stock charts and conference records (if I can get a clear transmission to Decka, which I doubt...but hey worth the try) otherwise, I simply take a peak at old graphs, saved on the lap-top.

And so I sit and wait.... for Sir Gilder to fill me in on what happened with Kek'Tar. Well, it may have been too late... the Ure were with us now, but I DID warn Sir Gilder when they came. He didn't even look at me when I did it... maybe he just didn't notice....
And so now, maybe he was just trying to act inconspicu--- innocent. But still, he should still tell me something...
And I still had what Kek'Tar said on my mind. Sir Gilder was my 'master'... He 'cared for money above all else'.... I still didn't really believe it, but, this is surely Mistake # 1 for Sir Gilder.
Three mistakes and I get to kill him!! Well, I won't, but I would be very disappoi-- mad.
In fact, I felt kinda mad right now.... Infuriated actually. And that's bad, because that's the biggest word I knew.
'Maybe I should start a deal myself... well, I have nothing to deal with.... maybe... oh I don't know. Maybe I should tell the Ure about how we plan to save Kek'Tar's ally.... or, but wait, why is that a bad thing? Why do people hate the Ure? I don't get it.'
So I ask. I turn to the nearest Ure. He was the one with no staff... or at least I didn't see it at the time. "People hate your kind. Why is that?"
---------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry, this is all just so Fury can technically be allowed to use the info everyone else has already got but not her. Hope I'm not stalling. If I am, make him ignore me or somethin'.

Sorry for the no post, I usually do it around 8:30 my time in the morning so i have to catch up. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Heh, why do they hate my kind... To be honest i'm not so sure myself. I guess that if SOME people of your kind are bad then EVERYONE of that kind is bad. I stair down at Fury, Do you think i'm bad? (The answer means nothing to me, but i like seeing her put the effort into common thought process) I get up and i move to the front of the cabin were Kek'Tar just walked to. That creature.... I'm sorry i didnt know please forgive me. I sit down and begin to pray "Mistake #1 gives them a rewason to hate me, crap.

Okay, catching up again.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I was growing more unsure by the erk if Vyin really intended to give me that promotion. If I hadn't known any better (and that would mean admitting that she was completely right about calling me naive), I'd say she just wanted to get rid of me by sending me to this smarmy planet on this scroop assignment and get myself killed with a motley band of scroop heads! Well, maybe except Fury, she's the only one I could trust my life with. And probably Gilder too, on account that he's a Snodeck like me.
But it looked like Sir Gilder was getting himself in a scroop (heh, I like the word 'scroop'; I can use it to insult others without really insulting them) and now one of the Ure was conversing with Fury and seemed a bit agitated about something. I think.
I may not know what I'm hearing a league away, but I can certainly see what useful details could abound.
But in the meantime, I decide to keep out of the way of these scroop heads and be the most helpful I could be. And that would be a feat in itself.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay, since I'm gonna probably miss out a lot on this RPG, I'll try to keep Furdol's role as a mute spectator of sorts. That way, you can keep playing, providing I can't get on long enough.

Digi: You can trust Fury with your life....? But, she doesn't... really, like you all that much at the moment... eh heh heh.... oh well, whatever, I'll try and make somethin' happen later so she does.
Okay, well gonna do my I-sit-and-wait post now... ------------------------------------------------------------------
"Heh, why do they hate my kind...," the Ure asked himself. "To be honest i'm not so sure myself. I guess that if SOME people of your kind are bad then EVERYONE of that kind is bad.... Do you think i'm bad?"
I thought to myself for a bit. He DID throw the black thing into the lava, but it was annoying, so... I don't know. But I didn't really think he was THAT bad. I don't see why I had to watch out for his kind while Sir Gilder was negotia--- talking with Kek'Tar. Hmm... "No, I don't think you're THAT bad..."
Then he left. So, that left me with nothing to do but think about what he said... and that was hard. If some were bad, then everyone's bad? I don't get it...
So I sit there, keep to myself, think, and wait.

First of all, I'm going to slow down a bit, so we can keep Digi.
Second, Devvyn, you had better either post more often somehow, or be prepared for repercussions. I'll use my GM power to make sure you stay with the group, but the way I plan to do this is to make you a liability to them and you become their hostage. If you can't post more often then I'll just have to have them take you forcibly to keep the party together. Alternately, I could make two stories, one for you and anyone who wishes to stay behind, and one for Kek'Tar and those who go with him. What do you wish?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The transport surfaces on the other side of the planet and travels for a while in the river of lava until reaching the new city, where it docks. Everyone disembarks. The Targa (Krekk) can be seen still clinging to the outside of the ship. The conductor (unbeknownst to you) places a small remote sonic detonator on the underside of goob's staff. (This just means sometime you're in for a nasty scare; probably in the middle of the night...)
Kinsannak is a mining city. There is a hallway that leads away from the MagTran into the main plaza. In that main plaza there are many shops, a central mining office, and a set of transport tubes to other areas of the city (make something up and they'll take you there; Hangars, a particular bar, any facility, really.); you could walk, if you wanted, but most of you don't care too ...especially the snodeck.

As the train docks I take a glance at the number of the communicator on the dash. I do my best to remember it. If he's being drafted to Greadea too, he may be of use to us later. Upon stopping, I immediately leave the transport and move to one of the transport tubes, heading to the Lok'Tikka hangar where the Firewall rests. I hastily type the code into the keypad to get entrance, a feeling lurking inside of me that, for some reason, the ship wouldn't be there. The doors open.
There it is. The fruits of my labor. Mine. My ship. It sits resting, held delicately by a line of heavily clawed arms. It's sort of beautiful, in an asymmetrical machine kind of way. The gigantic thrust engine that provides most of its forward speed takes up one side of the machine. The engine itself is tremendous, easily 60 feet long and 35 feet across. The cockpit sits right next to it, a cylindrical fuselage of about 20 feet in diameter. Adorning the front are two sensory finnials. A rotating pair of smaller engines sits just beyond the cockpit while it is stationary. These can be wheeled about while in flight for greater maneuverability. A long arm continues on a straight line from that of the engine and cockpit. This arm is filled with hollow slots that can be fitted with all sorts of attachments, from shield generators to engines to cargo space to weapons. Finally, at the end of the arm is a rotating engine with a variable slot on the end. All in all, the ship is about 120 feet wide and 60 feet long (at the widest/longest point).
I look about the hangar to see what experimental 'add-ons' I have available for the ship. While it bothers me some to use them, I will certainly need a few. I know that I'll need the space engine module. After taking a tally of these (GM must list what ones are available) I lock the hangar and head to my dwelling to assess what supplies I have here. (GM must list what I have at home, too)

Thanks Arreck! And Rabbitdawg, I'll try to do something too, hopefully something generally good because I have no idea how to start up a conversation as a snodeck.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay, we're in another city...wait, there must be some lava flows if it's a mining city. I explained to everyone that I had some research to take care, then headed to the nearest shop and get some metals.
Scroop. I only had 450 grij. But I shouldn't worry about that. If it's not enough, I could use that flispian Ker'Tar to get me some metals.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
How much do the metals actually cost for me?

(Like I said, slowing down, so no post yet, but what you'll need to do, Digi, is hire someone to go collect a sample of lava for you, so you might analyze it with your nifty object. You could do this yourself, but that would be waaaaaay out of character for a snodeck. They don't do things themselves...)

Sorry for not posting. I've been really busy, and everytime I get on I only have enough time to read what's posted, if that.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I follow Kek'Tar.
That was a nice looking ship I saw. Is it yours?
--------------------------------------------------------------------
I want to go but I'm not sure how. Maybe a hostage situation would be the best...

Thats not very nice putting things on my staff... (does he do it when i'm not looking cause i dont think i would take kindly to that seeing it... anyways)
As the ship comes to a rest I move to the front compartment and i appologize to the conducter. "I didnt mean to hurt him, were i'm from (were ever that is) we dont have those kind of species. From what it looked like, throwing him off into the lava was a helpfull thing. My appologize once again. May Danbe rest over you easily"
I walk out and begin to look around... Fury listned to me talk, maybe she would be interested in find her way back to Danbe our savior... maybe?
I walk over to Fury and i begin telling her the wonders of Danbe and the good things hes done.

Note: So you're saying Furdol is going have to hire someone to get the lava sample? Okay, but I doubt I could have Fury do it at the moment, unless I 'persuaded' her to. Otherwise, I'm pretty much at a loss of what to do. And what about the cost of metals?

Not quite sure what to do here.... I have no money... and am currently too stupid to start up any behind-the-scenes controversy... so... just saying this is basically a nothing post. And Digi, you could probably persuade Fury. Lol.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow. It stopped. The "thing" we were riding in stopped!! So, where were we? Everyone got out, so I followed. I look over at Sir Gilder who was still looking at all his machine-things...
I was still sort of mad he hasn't filled me in yet on the stuff with Kek'Tar... but there was still a ure nearby, so maybe Sir Gilder was still acting all un-suspicio-- innocent.
But then, the strangest thing happened!! The Ure started talking to me about... some Danbe person, and all of the great stuff he has done.
'Hmm... well, if he's so great, then... he should join up with me and Sir Gilder!! He could surely help with our business!! And maybe the Ure can join us too--- wait, Ure were still supposed to bad. Uh...'
I was confused, so I abandoned the whole good/bad topic for now. "Uh, so can I meet this Danbe person?" I ask the Ure. "Wait, first, what's your name?"
--------------------------------------------------- Note: Digi, check your Instant Messages here for my post later on...

"I am Yantu and you'r Fury. Danbe will not help with this "buisness" your talking about. Danbe is our god. He's a person that sits way up, even higher than the highest planet you can think of. Even higher than you jumping.... He's not really.... well... ok He's like a really big "spirit" and he sits over and watches what you and I do... do yo ustill fallow me.....?"

(More notes. I"ll post as soon as Digi does something.
Note1: Digi: You may hire one of the people at the mining facility if you wish. You are analyzing the metals IN the lava, so you don't actually buy the metals themselves. If you mean retail value, you'll get that when you figure out what's in the lava.
Note2: Yes, the conductor put the soundbomb on the staff without your knowledge.)
Note3: Note that Yantu is a rare case. Danbe is a 'dead' religion, and there are VERY few Ure who still follow it.
