The Moon of Hurk is a fairly large moon, that orbits around both Minthrop I and II. This moon, like both of its hosts, is covered in life and vegetation. Hurk's most obvious feature are its trees. Huge trees, some of them more than a thousand feet tall, cover most of the land. However, there is also a small ocean, covering about 30 percent of the planet, and what remains is of various terrains. The Hurks populate most of this planet, but the Gredeans, a new threat, have established a small nest on the opposite side of the planet from most Hurks. The Moon of Hurk is very hot and rainy, and tropical storms are quite common. Interestingly, Hurk has a weather phenomenon not seen anywhere else. Lightning storms actually form at very low altitudes. (6-50 feet) These storms, although they form at low altitudes, are only several feet tall but can be hundreds of miles wide. Luckily, these storms are harmless to most creatures. Here are some Features...
Yappal Plateau- This massive plateau, which extends for hundreds of miles, is one of the only arid regions of Hurk. It is bordered by the Panthal River.
Fiino's Breath Forest- This forest has almost no undergrowth but very tall, thin trees. Electric storms fill this entire forest, hence the name Fiino's breath.
The Moon of Hurk is about the size of Dorsch III.
