Alright! We're working on the newest RPG concept, which might actually be structured enough to work. However, we will not invest work in it unless we can determine that more than just us would like to play! (Or maybe we will, who knows?) Anyway, this RPG is more structured in its skill advancement. Basically, here is how it works: Each race will get at least two starting professions and at least one elite profession. These professions will choose your starting stats, skills, and equipment. Each profession will have four disciplines of four skills each. Say, for the Sigwar priest, the four disciplines could be charm combat, charm healing, miracles, and meditation. Each rank the Sigwar got in charm combat would increase the damage that he could do with his charm. The GM will decide when you have used your charm to fight enough to gain a skill box. Each skill box will have a particular bonus associated with it, like +15 charm damage. Then, when the GM grants you the next rank, you get the next predetermined bonus, perhaps +20 charm damage. Now, once you get all four ranks in a particular skill, you may qualify for a master profession. (Such as, when you get all four ranks in charm combat, you can become a combat priest or something.) Many stat changes will also be made.
