There are 6 planets in the Nablas system. There are two planets that share the same orbit radius from the sun, 2 that are uninhabitable 1/2 of their year (I'll explain later), and two more that are inhabited by the only sentient species in the system. 3 different species have occupied this system and only 2 are left: The home planet of the Tockneff (the Snodeck's "partners")), Thordeck, and the home planet of the Snodeck, Decka.

This is a rather simple illustration I threw together to demonstrate the location and shape of the orbits of all the planets in the Nablas system. I imagine that I can probably get TiJil to make a better one for me, but it'll have to do for now. Right now I'm going to give an explanation about the different planets and along the way provide some history about the Snodeck. The full list of the Nablas planets: Modeck: Modeck is a planet of desolate ruin and gass. It was the homeworld of a strange race that quickly built massive amounts of robots and machinery. The full force and military power of this race was sent straight past Thordeck and it invaded Decka. The attack was quite a surprise for the Snodeck, and they had no military units at all. They had not yet found and allied themselves with the Tockneff so they had no military help from them. Defeat seemed inevitable, yet they managed to put together a last ditch idea to defend themselves. They had already quite a powerful fleet for moving minerals, food, and other resources along routes between their moons and their home planet. Since their currency, commications, etc. rellied very heavilly on a computerized internet, they had become very adept at programing and creating viruses to crash opposing corporation's businesses. So they put together several teams of Snodeck programers, revised their supply cruisers into better, faster ships they began to call "Penetrators", and they loaded up as many transmitters as they could into their new fleet. They then sent their massive fleet of Penetrators to Modeck, and transmitted a fast and powerful barrage of every virus they could program straight towards the planet and any ship they met. The attack was a success; the robotic based, sentient race was completely demolished as every single computer was suddenly programmed to send dangerous commands along their transmission lines. Ships exploded, power generators over loaded cities, and the entire planet's societal infrastructure was destroyed from the inside out. Commanders of the main attack did report that they picked up life signs in the cities of the planet, but they never saw what kind of race it was that had sent the first robotic invasion. Thus, the present state of the planet is unsuitable for living conditions: radiation, poisonous gasses, and permanent dust storms have plagued the planet ever since the sudden colapse of the mysterious race. Hodeck: Hodeck, sometimes called the twin of Modeck, as it shares Modeck's orbit and annual speed. After the attack on Modeck, the Snodeck landed their troops on Hodeck and built a military colony there. It had a sufficient atmosphere, soil, and vegetation. Since Decka is one complete city all over the whole planet, and much of the interior of the planet is reserved for expansion, Hodeck became the perfect place for the Snodeck to begin their military research and construction. Though no King has ever really cared much about military expansion, all Kings have always been required by the court to place at least 2% of the budget spending on the military applications at Hodeck. Thus, the Snodeck's military has been growing slowly, very slowly, but surely on the planet of Hodeck. Nimos and Timos: Nimos and Timos both have very elongated, oval orbits which brings them rather close to Nablas and also extremely far from it. Therefore, one-half of the time, the planets are completely frozen over. Yet during the other half of the year they're close enough to Nablas to support life. These planets have a few small oceans, very large mountain ranges, and huge forests. Snodeck have considered using these planets to conduct scientific experiments using the dramatically changing surfaces. No project has yet been launched, but plans have been drawn; all that is needed is an order from a curious CEO of a research coorperation. Thordeck: As the home world of the violent Tockneff, Thordeck used to be a somewhat thriving and healthy planet. But when the Tockneff finally gained enough technology to stretch their transportation across continents, Tockneff mobs were formed and wars broke out. Imagine a planet completely filled only with mafia minded creatures. As soon as the wars broke out, they never ended. Thus the planet is now only war torn, and the cities lie in ruin. Snodeck often land on Thordeck, break up fights with a few fire-works, then convince the Tockneff to become their "partners." Any self-respecting Tockneff would kill himself if he were put to slavery. So the Snodeck merely call them partners, yet put them to work as though they were slaves; they never know the difference. The Snodeck are occassionally met with smarter Tockneff who merely refuse to become partners. Therefore, Thordeck is still war-torn and poverty struck, yet no Tockneff nor Snodeck are interested in rebuilding it. Decka: Decka is populated half and half with Snodeck and Tockneff. Many Tockneff have been born on Decka, and have never even seen the home world of their race. Most Tockneff born on Decka can't think of anything to do with themselves other than become a "partner" to a Snodeck. All Tockneff are given full rights of citizenship, but most really don't know what to do with them. Those who don't become "partners" to Snodeck are usually the more intelligent ones, but even they rarely ever find themselves able to keep up with the fast paced, quick talking, and charismatic Snodeck. So they find themselves the nearest ship to Thordeck, join a mob, and fight their hearts out till they die happy. Occaissionally, there is an extremely rare Tockneff who dares to buy the advanced communicators, 3D laptops, mobile satellite dishes, stocks, and court rights, then actually succeeds to use them and become a member of the economically powerful society. But enough about the Tockneff of Decka. The Snodecks have very close family bonds. Snodeck usually marry some very distant cousin, have massive amounts of children, and have their Tockneff take care of them while they conduct their business. Thus, the Families become huge to the size of small countries. The oldest of the Families usually are the ones to rule them. The Matriarch and Patriarch are the married couple who parent all of the members of the Family. Every Family has Snodeck who decide to become lawyers, and those lawyers eventually become judges, and those judges eventually become Courtiers. Though the government of Decka is a monarchy, there is a small element of deplomacy. All of the CEO's of a Family are registered to vote for judges. And all of the Matriarchs and Patriarchs are registered to vote for Courtiers. Courtiers then meet at the Supreme Palace (the current Palace of the most powerful Family/Royal Family) where they convene in Court to make laws, preside over extreme cases, and lastly to prevent the Royal Family from corruption. Thus, the Court is much like a mixture between our Congress and Supreme Court, though they are only voted into position by Snodeck of much power: CEO's and the Matriarchs and Patriarchs. Decka used to be a planet that had a very beautiful environment, and it was speckled with few random Snodeck cities and there were lakes in abundance. But the greedy Snodeck eventually destroyed the environment, consuming all available resources, and constructing their beautiful architecture until it was completely covered with one big city. The Snodeck now cultivate food underneath the surface of the planet through farms, beautiful gardens, and orchards, fed with light from a complex matrix of mirrors. All water has been drained from the lakes, and only exists in the pipes, drinking glasses, farms, and recycling tubes of the Snodeck.
