Hearing the call I thrown down my opponent, and rush over to Tokmal...
"Molthor want help!"

I grinned inwardly. Once more, the child in me wanted to experience that excitement once more and subconsciously, I stepped up to Tokmal, saluted and said, "I'll gladly help to search for this pod you speak!"

I nod appreciatively as Rotun informs me that he has already sent the information to the circular.
I'm about to step into the line that Rotun had assigned for those who can stand some excitement, but I quickly realize something else. I turn to Rotun.
"Sir! I just realized something! It is ofcourse illogical to provide an emergency escape for prisoners. There may still be injured prisoners left in the ship. Surely standard procedure would allow us to, without orders, break open and search the ship in order that we might provide medical aide to anyone inside. Those, who do not wish to come on the search, should stay behind and attend to scanning the ship for survivors."
After speaking to Rotun, I fall in line so that I may be placed in a search party, and I motion to the Hurk who just walked up to me to do the same.

Tokmal: Rotun looks disapprovingly at you.
"That's enough of that, soldier. We will be opening the ship. I want you with one of the search parties." With that, he turns back to his computer for a moment and touches a few buttons. He turns to yell out orders. Within erk he has motioned for several groups to come together. Ziela, Raizi, Tokmal, Molthor, Gadek (a young male nogan), and Vuca, a female hurk are put in a group.
He constructs two other groups of similar size, leaving Lekjaw, Ukon, the Gul'Surr trainees, and a few nogan and hurks with him.
---------
You scan the plains. Smoke seems to be rising in several places from various large pieces of wreckage. There are three columns of smoke that you percieve as large enough to be from the pod. One is thick, black, and opaque. Another has a slight tint of blue in it. The final is fading away. It is large but very sparse now.

I say to Tokmal "Hey! Twasseccy guy, where we go now?"

"I want you with one of the search parties."
I quickly answer.
"Ofcourse, sir!"
I fall into the group that Rotun puts me in. I while I wait I clean and check my weapons and ammunition. The Hurk who had earlier inquired about where to go to volunteer is asking me where we should head off to. I respond.
"Let's just randomly pick a direction. We'll run a series of circles along that way."
I point towards same direction that the nose of the ship was facing.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why did Rotun look at me disapprovingly? I didn't say that I wanted to stay behind. I just suggested that those who do stay behind should search the ship. I even fell into the line to be chosen for a search party.

(Rotun looked at you thusly because he is a twassecc who, while please to be getting to do some real work, is rather grumpy right now dealing with the hurks and such. You, being of a lower rank and a twassecc (thus obliged to take any abuse he dishes out) are a ripe target for his frustration. He did ask for your opinion as to what the ship was, but he's not too interested in your ideas that you aren't specifically trained for. He would, I'm sure, appreciate information you could give him from your piloting or tactical background, but he doesn't take too kindly to having his subordinate telling him protocol. Besides that, him being an intelligence officer, he thinks he knows a bit more about the situation than you do.)
Gadek smiles at the group. "Hey there, I'm Gadek. I'm not sure, but I think we ought to send one of the groups to each of the smoke plumes. I'm not much of a machinist. Perhaps the twassecc here can offer his opinion as to which of those plumes would be an escape pod impact?"

I greeted Gadek back. "It's a pleasure to have you in our group, Gadek. I'm Raizi and that's my friend Ziela, who unusually is quiet tonight," I said, referring to the lone sigwar. I found it strange that I haven't met him before if he lived in Yon, but it would be plausible if he had just arrived here for help.
I then turned to Tokmal, who I believe was our leader. A well-meaning leader, I'm assured.
"We should head to where Tokmal pointed earlier," I said, waiting if the twassec would lead us.

Just a note: I suggest you all (If you feel like it) visit the new board, Izava III. There you can learn about some of the languages in the twassecc universe and learn to speak a bit of Surish!

Just a little more 'til the end of this week. Then, I'll be back full time, I swear. Just a teeny bit busy recently... eh heh heh (that was the understatement of the day x.x) Okay, well, sorry if this post seems a little rushed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
After everyone was gathered around the ship, the two twassecs began speaking between themselves... One of them apparently trying to analyze the ship or something, leaving the rest of us to simply stand there and wait... And listen to the horrid sounds of two hurks who just randomly began to wrestle.
'Well, might as well have this on record... ' I take out my writing pad and writing utensil and began sketching the ship. I hoped they could identify it. Then I started recalling the earlier events and began documenting info on nogan feeding, sleeping, and social customs... and... and... and... I was so engrossed in my work, then, I heard my name.
"...friend Ziela, who unusually is quiet tonight."
"Huh? Oh, sorry, I was... just... keeping track of stuff.... yeah." I noticed another unfamiliar male nogan looking at me, so... "Um... hi."
'I'm thinking now would be a good time to put my stuff away...' So I did and looked about. I had no idea what was going on. Obviously, issues were ordered, and I didn't hear them. I spoke to Raizi, and she filled me in. "So... we're possibly handling Ure again? If they're anything like the Ure from before, then I better have this ready..." I said, clasping my wind charm as I began a prayer.

umm...in case you're all waiting for me to post... (not much to say here)
"Roar!! Kill Ure!" I do whatever I'm told, so as soon as they head out I do with them.

I stare at each of the smoke plumes for a while. The rest of my group is waiting for me to decide...Finally, after a little bit of deliberation I point to the dark smoke plume arising from the ground, and I decide that we should move towards it.
"Let's make good time everyone! We need to keep up a fast pace! If you feel you're falling behind, then don't be ashamed to ask this Hurk here to carry you! Let's move!!"

I sighed in relief. I was beginning to tire of just standing around, doing nothing. "We shouldn't delay the leader. Ziela, Tokmal, and," I looked at the hurk. "Molthor, right? Onwards!"
I tried to stay a bit behind Tokmal and Gadek, since they had more experience with trekking (or so it seemed). I looked back to see if Ziela wasn't lagging behind.

Woohoo! Thanks Dragonfly!
Shortly upon reaching the source of the smoke, it is obvious that Tokmal chose the correct one. A slender, rounded bridge had crash landed. The small emergency engine system on the ship was emitting copious amounts of thick, black smoke. Luckily, the winds are picking up a bit, keeping the visibility clear as the smoke is sucked away.
As you get to the crash, another source of smoke is visible. Several small machines are perched next to the wreck. They are clearly automatons. This particular variety is squat and quadrupedal, each one less than a foot long. About ten of them are sitting around the crash, facing the downed machine. From each one a beam of electrical energy courses forward a few inches. It doesn't take long to realize that they are slowly dismantling the craft. They gradually drag the beams across the ship. Any part that is touched is damaged. The stronger metal simply glows with warmth and distorts a bit. The P6 portions that are touched pop with a short report like a light bulb bursting.
You watch the automatons for a moment, each one studiously going about its work, when the Ure appear. A half dozen or so of them were apparently hiding in the scrub around the crash. Two are heavily armored, their pink goggles glowing evilly. They wield heavy, two handed guns with thin cables attaching the weapons to the back of their skulls. One other is clearly wearing a superior style of garb. She is probably the captain, and she doesn't appear armed. The other three that you can see are armored only in primative suits, seemingly made of some sort of wood. They wield wokthe staves that seem to shimmer with electric energies.

When we finally decided on a destination, everyone just suddenly ran to it. I really wasn't the sure what the big rush was... I mean, I knew it'd probably beneficial to make haste, but this was ridiculous. I was immediately falling behind. I wasn't used to this terrain.... and maybe it was just me, but it was starting to feel cold... Maybe I'm just not used to it since I've lived in a dessert... whatever.
Despite the fact I was falling behind, I really really REALLY didn't feel comfortable asking a hurk to carry me. Besides, if my memory served me right, that was the hurk that started some random fight with in the crater thing and... uh... what if he just randomly decides to beat me while he carried me...? or something...? So I didn't ask for help. I saw the smoke. That was our destination. I couldn't get lost.... right?
Besides, if there were any hostile Ure, maybe it'd be beneficial if I came a little later than everyone else... I'd be like a trump card they never saw coming, or... I don't know. Whatever. But I prepared my charm, prayed in my head, and tried to approach the source of smoke stealthily. The only other thing that could happen is that there are no Ure, but if I come in stealthily enough, no one would ever notice that I fell behind. Heh heh heh....
